Elm City Montessori School–New Haven’s first public Montessori school–opened in August 2014 with three Primary classrooms. We currently have five Primary classrooms, four Lower Elementary classrooms, three Upper Elementary classrooms, one Erdkinder classroom. The school serves 300 children between the ages of 3 and 14. New Haven, CT is a thriving arts, cultural, and education hub, located in the center of a growing community of public Montessori schools.
