Books by Maria Montessori
Most books available by Dr. Montessori are actually transcribed lectures from her training courses over the first half of the 20th century. Most titles are widely available through commercial booksellers; others can be obtained through the North American Montessori Teachers Association. The Montessori Method and Dr. Montessori’s own Handbook were prepared especially for readers interested in learning about her alternative pedagogical approach for the first time.
